The problem
Parents had no self-serve way to see what was due for each child and pay it, and every payment that didn't post itself against the right fee head became a matching task for accounts.
What I did
- Built the parent web app: OTP login by parent mobile, attendance, exam results and hostel details per child, and Razorpay payment per fee head, with webhook reconciliation that posts each fee automatically.
- Built the parent fee app behind online collections, live since Apr 2026: OTP login, single and bulk Razorpay payments across course and hostel fees, automatic posting via webhook, and invoice download.
- Built month-on-month collection reporting from Razorpay exports, split by channel (parent app vs payment link), fee component and week of month, to track how reminders drive payments.
- Built fee transfers between course, hostel and transport fee heads, capped at the amount paid, plus month-wise transport fee slabs and capped fee waivers.
