I find the problem in the data, write the spec, build it, and launch it.
I’m a product analyst and team lead at Xylem Learning (a Physics Wallah company). For the last two years I’ve worked on the admissions and payments platform behind its Kerala centres, and today I own it: from the first SQL query to the training session on launch day.
- ₹100 Cr+
- in fees recorded across 100,000+ payments on the platform I own
- ₹4 Cr+
- collected online in the first two months of the payment apps I built
- 500+
- staff across admissions, accounts and hostels work in the portal I launched

Product ownership · Xylem Learning
One portal for admissions, payments, approvals and hostels
Moved admissions, payment collection, approvals and hostel management into one portal used by 500+ staff, with role-based access and a support-ticket queue.
Payments · Xylem Learning
Building the fee-collection pillars: a parent app and SMS payment links
Built Xylem's two fee-collection pillars, a parent web app and SMS payment links: ₹4 Cr+ collected online in the first two months; fee collection has since recorded ₹100 Cr+ across 100,000+ payments.
Workflows · Xylem Learning
Refunds and approvals that follow policy, not inbox threads
Standardised approvals: L1/L2/L3 sign-off for discounts, drops, fee transfers and refunds, with mandatory remarks and a retention step before any refund is paid.
Data quality & security · Xylem Learning
Making the numbers finance relies on actually add up
Reconciled payments across systems: traced missing payments and pushed them through, then automated the App to CRM to ERP check as a Metabase dashboard.

Rivlo: a ranked 1v1 exam-prep battle app, built solo
Designed and built a 1v1 ranked exam-prep battle app (JEE, NEET and CAT) end-to-end, from problem definition through matchmaking, adaptive learning engine and a beta release.

A live WhatsApp bot, and the tool that tailored my CV
Two small products built end to end: a Malayalam WhatsApp enquiry bot in production for an Akshaya e-Centre, and a CV generator that won't let an LLM invent a single fact.
How I work
An analyst who doesn’t stop at the dashboard.
- 01
Find it in the data
150+ SQL reports, payment reconciliation across app, CRM and ERP, and root-cause analyses that turn a complaint into a fixable cause.
- 02
Spec it
15+ BRDs, a costed task list for the external vendor, and rules signed off with finance before anything is built.
- 03
Build it
Not a hand-off: I took over the codebase directly. The Admission Portal now exposes 170+ API endpoints.
- 04
Launch and land it
Go-live plans, training sessions, launch notes and a support-ticket queue, so the thing actually gets used, then the data to show it worked.

Product Analyst, Team Lead
Xylem Learning (a Physics Wallah company)
- Owned the Admission Portal from spec to launch: enrollment, payment collection, approvals, hostel management, dashboards and support tickets in one role-based app, launched in Apr 2026.
- Built Xylem's two fee-collection pillars, a parent web app and SMS payment links: ₹4 Cr+ collected online in the first two months; fee collection has since recorded ₹100 Cr+ across 100,000+ payments.
- Refunds and approvals: built policy-based refunds (amount from days since joining), L1/L2/L3 approvals, a retention step that closes requests when the student stays, and one-time bank-detail links.
- Locked down student data: removed export and print rights on sensitive records and masked personal data in self-serve reports.
- Lead a team of 5 (2 ops, 2 developers, 1 analyst).

Product Analyst
Xylem Learning
- Wrote 15+ BRDs and ran the external development vendor against a costed task list.
- Reconciled payments across App, CRM (LeadSquared) and ERP: traced payments missing over six months and pushed them through, imported missing app purchases, flagged payments stuck at the applicant stage, then automated the check in Metabase.
- Defined the Base/Pro plan data flow from app to CRM to ERP, later the basis for plan-based pricing (Infinity) built in 2026.
- Built the Mentor Portal, Teacher Attendance Portal and first Hostel Allotment flow in 2025, before taking over the codebase directly.

About
Engineer by training, product person by habit.
I studied Mechanical Engineering at NIT Calicut, spent my final year writing and evaluating code to train large language models at Outlier, and joined Xylem Learning as an analyst. The job quickly became less about reporting what happened and more about fixing why: first by writing specs for a vendor, then by building the fixes myself.
Today I lead a team of 5, own the platform end to end, and still build side products: a ranked exam-prep app, a WhatsApp bot for a local e-Centre, and the tool that tailors my CV.
